John Petronis, AICP, AIA, REFP, President, Architect/Planner
John Petronis founded ARC in 1976 and is its president. He has master of business administration and master of architecture degrees from the University of New Mexico, and is a certified planner and registered architect. Mr. Petronis has substantial facility programming and master planning experience for a wide variety of projects for federal, state, and local governments, as well as for educational institutions statewide and nationwide. As senior principal, Mr. Petronis oversees most of ARC’s project work. He also manages and actively participates in planning work for long-standing clients such as Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque Public Schools, the National Park Service, Santa Fe Public Schools, the State of New Mexico, University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, and variety of other clients.
