Ailene O’Byrne, AIA, LEED AP, PMP, Advisory Architect

Ailene O’Byrne holds a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico. She has been with Architectural Research Consultants, Inc. (ARC) since 2014. She is a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience and 30 years of analysis and management experience. She served as Director of Educational Services at ARC until 2023.

Robert Robie, Emeritus,
RA, Architect

Robert Robie was Vice President of ARC and was with ARC from 1994 to 2014. He has a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico. He served as an architectural group lead, facilities planner, condition evaluator, estimator, and architectural programmer. He worked closely with firm president John Petronis on master planning, programming, and facilities evaluation projects and managed planning projects for a variety of clients, including local, state, and federal government entities and particularly school districts, both in-state and nationally.

William Winkler, Architect, NCARB, AIA, Architect

William Winkler was an Architect/Facility Planner with over 30 years of experience in facilities master planning, programming, design, contract document production, and construction contract administration. Mr. Winkler joined ARC in 1993, where he served as an integral team member until his retirement in 2016.

Wolfgang Preiser, Ph.D.
Director of Research for ARC, Professor of Architecture

Dr. Preiser was the Director of Research for ARC and a Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture and Interior Design, College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning at the University of Cincinnati.
