Job description
ARC is hiring multiple candidates to be Facilities Evaluators.
Pay: $40,000-$70,000 annually
Facilities Evaluators
- Assess facilities for deficiencies
- Document existing conditions through pictures and detailed notes
- Interview key facility staff members during evaluations
- Write reports detailing current building conditions and deficiencies and conveying client needs
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Update databases as needed
- Collaborate with other team members for large projects
- Travel regionally for out-of-town evaluations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related degree
- Ability to occasionally be on feet for 8 hours a day and to climb ladders
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Working knowledge of standard office computer software and web-based applications
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related experience
- A master’s degree in architecture or a related field
- An architectural license or the ability to obtain an NM architectural license
- An understanding of building systems and ADA requirements

Architectural Research Consultants, Inc. (ARC) is an Albuquerque-based architectural consulting firm specializing in planning, architectural programming, facility evaluation, and architectural research. Founded in 1976, it is the largest and longest-established planning firm in New Mexico. ARC works with a variety of clients including educational entities and national, state, and local government agencies. We also provide facility master planning services for many of the state’s school districts, community colleges, and universities.

Job Type: Full-time preferred, part-time negotiable
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
